Trying to find the common thread

This blog, being a reflection of its author, will be a little like a club sandwich.

I have a few interests – I list librarian 1.0 and 2.0/Children’s entertainer/web dev/musician/writer on my twitter, @seanfish which kind of doesn’t get there because I couldn’t fit policy geek, game geek, Gleek, nor any of the other kinds of geek I am in 140 characters.

Frankly, in small country towns the could put me in a tent and charge admission.

As the title of this post suggests, I spend no small amount of energy trying to discern what unites this, and pin one down long enough to turn it in to something bright and shiny… but you know what?

I don’t think I have to.

So here’s what we’ll do. I’ll write here on anything that floats past. Give me your thoughts in return, and we’ll see we develop together.

And just to show this blog is really all about cheap thrills… here’s a cover of my favourite track from the album of that name.

Anyone needing the club sandwich metaphor explained?
