Blogjune 2: A bit of a poem.

Today was a chaotic day at work. Expected and unexpected absences impacted throughout, as did a hurly-burly of queries throughout the day.

Rather than dwell on that, I’d like to share a poem I wrote on a simpler day.

“Burdeep, burdeep, burdeep, burdeep,” he calls.
A small black and white fellow
Come to find surprised insects
Calling for his mate
The lawn is a series of lines I am drawing
I knock my head on a branch
Instead of cursing I call,
“Burdeep, burdeep, burdeep.”
