Once I’d finished the frame, the first drawer was the real accomplishment as all the others would further iterations of the same set of tasks.

The Hemnes chest of 8 drawers, white stain is the penultimate piece of furniture for our nursery. I’ll finish the last next weekend (of which more on build day), and then I’m done in terms of my major share of baby prep.

It’s the most satisfying thing to progress a project from nothing to partially completed:
